About 8 years ago, in my previous career as a hairstylist I prayed for inspiration to grow my client base and be more successful. God just dropped it into my spirit to start sending thank you cards out to my clients. I started that day making and sending out postcards to my clients to thank them for being such a special part of my life. I kept them short, but personal, expressing my gratitude to them for choosing me as their stylist, and letting them know that I was also their friend. In about 2 months, my client retention rate went from between 70 and 80% up to about 98%!! I was amazed at what such a simple little gesture meant to people. Even an 8 year old boy came back to me because I had sent him a note to let him know I enjoyed meeting him and was thankful for the opportunity to serve him. After a short while I had clients coming back to me telling me about the collection they had on their bulletin boards at home and how their friends would look for the latest card when they came over for coffee. I was blown away by the effectiveness of a little thoughtfulness and how it put $$ in my pocket!
Fast forward 6 years. I am now doing photography not full time, but working my way up in my small little town. I had forgotten about this wonderful tool for building my last career, so imagine my surprise when I opened the link and discovered this! Thank you so much for including the info on your profitable photography studio website. I plan to talk to many people I know about signing up! I know hairstylists all over, Mary Kay sales people, and other business people who will benefit so much from this program! It’s so simple and easy, they would be foolish to not at least give it a try! I also plan to use the program as an additional service for clients who can pay me to send out cards on their behalf or sign up to do it themselves! I think I’ll even throw in the images they want to use for free as an incentive! SWEET!
